Success Shared: A Client’s Perspective

Over the years, the Mechanical Insulators Unions of New York have attempted to pass legislation to incentivize and recognize the importance of the Mechanical Insulation Industry.  For our latest attempt, we made the decision to work with Michael Cinquanti and his team at Genium.  Under Michael’s leadership, we put together a strategy and got to work immediately.  After gathering information and formulating a message, we met with the Legislature and Governor’s Office.  Michael’s knowledge of the political structure and environment combined with our expertise in the Mechanical Insulation field helped raise awareness to our legislation.  Once this was established, Michael worked with the Assembly and Senate and crafted our legislation to pass through both houses.  Ultimately, Governor Hochul signed our Mechanical Insulation Incentive Act.  It is the first of it’s kind passed in the nation and it will create an enormous amount of work for our members while saving the State of New York money and reducing the carbon footprint.  Michael Cinquanti and Genium did a tremendous job in bringing this to where we are currently and we look forward to continuing our work as we implement this program to create jobs for our Members and contribute to the Green Energy Strategy of the State of New York.
